Job Description

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Develop and implement regional market access strategies to secure and optimize reimbursement, pricing, and access conditions
  • Act as the key field-based interface to regional stakeholders (e.g. statutory health insurance funds, KVs, hospital decision-makers, KOLs)
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key access stakeholders across the healthcare system
  • Lead regional pricing and reimbursement discussions, including negotiation of contracts and managed entry agreements
  • Identify regional access opportunities, barriers, and policy changes, and actively drive solutions
  • Ensure alignment between regional execution and national market access strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial and Medical teams to support product uptake and overcome access hurdles
  • Provide field insights to national and international teams to refine access strategies and brand planning
  • Support launch readiness, tenders, and hospital access processes, including interaction with hospital pharmacies and purchasing units

What you bring to the role

  • Strong knowledge of the German healthcare and reimbursement system (SHI, DRG, NUB, access pathways).
  • Understanding of AMNOG and regional implementation of national decisions.
  • Experience in rebate contract negotiations and stakeholder management across SHIs, KVs, hospitals, and pharmacies.
  • Strategic, strong in negotiation and communication.
  • Self-driven, hands-on, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Strong cross-functional and international collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and effective in dynamic environments.
  • Strong project management with an outcome focus.
  • Motivated, learning-oriented, and driven by innovation and excellence.
  • 10+ years biotech/pharma experience.
  • 6+ years German field-based Market Access experience.
  • Experience with SHI/KV structures preferred.
  • Advanced degree in science, medicine, business, engineering, or finance.
  • Fluent in German and English.
