Our Client is a fast-growing European biotech scale-up that has built its commercial and medical footprint from the ground up. They are now entering an exciting phase of commercial expansion in Germany with the launch of an innovative therapy for a rare, chronic hematological condition. To support this growth, we are looking for experienced and entrepreneurial talent who want to actively shape a dynamic commercial organization.

Job Description

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Assume full medical responsibility for Germany as the national MSL in the field of hematology/rare diseases
  • Build, engage, and further develop a strong expert network by collaborating with KOLs, scientific societies, and treatment centers
  • Share scientific insights, clinical data, and educational content in a balanced, compliant, and non-promotional way
  • Support pre-launch and launch activities in close partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Collect and translate actionable medical insights from the field to inform and shape internal strategy
  • Increase awareness and understanding of the disease area and upcoming therapies
  • Represent Avanzanite at medical conferences, advisory boards, and educational events
  • Work closely with Marketing, Market Access, and Sales while maintaining a clear scientific focus
  • Ensure the highest standards of ethical conduct and compliance in all activities  

What you bring to the role

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred)
  • Solid experience (6+ years) as a field-based MSL or in Medical Affairs, ideally within hematology or rare diseases
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong passion for working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Excellent ability to build trusted partnerships and communicate complex scientific content in a clear and accessible way
  • High level of self-motivation, independence, and strong ownership of projects and responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Germany
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
